Prenatal
and Birth
- Two prenatal appointments to become acquainted with you and your birth partner, go over birth preferences, create a birth plan, and practice different labor-management and comfort techniques. We will also cover what to expect in the postpartum period and go over the basics of breastfeeding/infant feeding. (Additional prenatal appointments available by request for an additional fee)
- Text, phone, and email support throughout pregnancy
- Access to my lending library
- On-call availability starting at 38 weeks until you give birth
- Continuous support throughout labor and for 1-2 hours after birth to help with breastfeeding and making sure you feel fully supported
- One postpartum visit to review your birth experience, provide you with your personal birth timeline, talk about how you’re adjusting to motherhood, and assist you with anything you need.
- Breastfeeding and infant feeding support and education throughout your pregnancy and immediately postpartum.

*FSA/HSA accounts will often cover a doula’s fees with a note from your provider
PostPartum
overnight
- A night of full support from 10pm – 6am for both you and your baby, so that you can get some needed rest.
- Personalized help with early arrival on a first visit to get to know the needs of your family.
- Available in-depth education for as long as wanted at the start of the evening, including:

- Breast/bottle feeding
- Newborn characteristics
- Diapering
- Infant bathing and massage
- Swaddling
- Baby wearing
- Safe sleep
- Perinatal mood disorders.
- Breastfeeding and infant feeding support throughout the night. I can help you with pumping, bottle feeding, and troubleshooting breastfeeding issues.

lactation support
Prenatal Education
A prenatal meeting in your home to prepare you for breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, or however you plan to feed your baby. We’ll go over what to expect in the first few days postpartum and how your milk changes in the days and weeks following childbirth. You’ll receive my “Breastfeeding 101” guide, and I will be available to answer your questions and will check in with you after your birth to see if you need any additional support.

in-home consultation
A lactation consultation at your home that typically lasts 1.5 – 2 hours, including an in-depth feeding evaluation. We’ll work directly together on latch, positioning, hand expressing, pumping, and safe bottle feeding. You’ll also receive my “Breastfeeding 101” guide, and we’ll work together to make a plan of action and plan any follow-up care.
